ADSS or Figure-8?
Both appear in aerial projects.ADSS uses an all-dielectric self-supporting construction. Figure-8 designs use a messenger. Start with the span and whether metallic components are acceptable.
Duct or direct burial?
Both are outdoor routes.A duct provides external protection. A directly buried route needs its own protection strategy. Do not assume any outdoor cable is suitable for direct burial.
Simplex, duplex or breakout?
All can serve indoor networks.Start with how many connections you need and how they will terminate. Several fibers in one cable is different from individually protected sub-units.
