WHAT TO CONFIRM

A few details make the choice clearer.

Select your route to see the questions that matter for this cable.

  • Installation method and mechanical loads
  • Fiber type, count and network requirements
  • Jacket, protection and acceptance criteria

Continue with your requirement

Every layer has a purpose.

Review the cable components, then confirm the drawing for the configuration you intend to order.

Tight Buffered Fiber

Specifications, with context.

Use these references to frame your requirement. The quotation and approved cable datasheet define the product supplied.

Tight-buffer sizes used in indoor constructions

Published construction examples for initial comparison, not guaranteed supply ratings.

Buffer diameter
600 or 900 μmExamples of buffered-fiber sizes, not finished cable outside diameters.
Sources & scope

Public technical references checked September 2026. Manufacturer examples illustrate a construction; they do not identify HONGKAI’s source factory or establish the specification of your order.

Optical selection reference

Select the fiber and finished cable separately

G.652 describes single-mode fiber and cable; G.657 addresses bending-loss-insensitive single-mode fiber. Ask for the precise category and the finished-cable test limits needed by your network. For multimode requirements, state the OM category and link design.

G.652 attenuation limits are not a blanket specification for short indoor cables, jumpers or drop cables. Fiber bending performance also does not determine the minimum bend radius of a finished cable.

Tight-buffered fiber · upstream element — from fiber preparation to agreed acceptance and delivery. See HONGKAI equipment and process references matched to the listed construction.

The functions below explain how this construction is made. They are not a fixed machine count or a final equipment specification.

  1. 01

    Fiber coloring & preparation

Start with the approved optical fiber. Apply and cure the specified identification colors, then rewind; if colored fiber is purchased, verify the incoming identification and package instead.

  2. 02

    Tight-buffer formation

Form the specified buffer around each approved fiber, then cool, monitor dimensions and take up. Buffer material, dimensions, identification and reel interface follow the cable drawing.

  3. 03

    Element inspection & identification

Check the agreed buffer geometry and optical performance, identify the output reel and preserve traceability for the receiving cable or assembly process.

  4. 04

    Reel packing & delivery

Confirm package dimensions, lengths and the receiving process interface. HONGKAI handles the agreed acceptance and delivery scope.

This product is a buffered-fiber element. Aramid cable formation, common jacketing and loose-tube SZ stranding are not presented as required stages for this element. Final materials, equipment interfaces and acceptance follow the approved drawing and order.

Optical fiber coloring and rewinding video from HONGKAI

Optical fiber coloring and rewinding

HONGKAI coloring and rewinding footage: identification ink is applied and cured before the fiber is rewound. Already-colored input can enter the next approved production stage. Equipment and process reference only. Not proof of the manufacturing source, full equipment configuration or acceptance of your cable batch.

Only matching process functions have video controls. Other stages retain their explanation where suitable footage has not been established. These clips are not one continuous factory tour or a batch inspection record.

Independent factories manufacture the finished cable; HONGKAI handles customer-facing supply, payment, agreed acceptance inspection and delivery. Some equipment customers also manufacture the cables we supply. The actual source, specification and acceptance requirements are confirmed for each order.

Cable Supply with Clear Responsibility

HONGKAI supports cable machinery and production projects, and supplies finished fiber optic cables. Our finished cables are produced by independent factories in China that use HONGKAI equipment.

For orders supplied by HONGKAI, we handle the quotation, customer payment, agreed acceptance inspection and delivery coordination.

  • One Point of Contact for Your Order

Work with HONGKAI on your cable requirements, quotation and order arrangements. Specifications, payment terms and delivery responsibilities are confirmed through one supplier.

  • Sourcing Informed by Equipment Experience

Our cable-equipment experience provides a practical basis for discussing cable construction and production requirements with supplying factories. This helps connect your application requirements with the proposed cable design.

  • Acceptance Agreed for Your Order

Acceptance criteria, inspection scope and required supporting records are agreed for the order. HONGKAI handles acceptance inspection against that agreed scope before delivery.

  • Coordinated Delivery Support

HONGKAI coordinates delivery arrangements and order communication under the agreed commercial terms. Lead time, packing requirements and required shipping documents are confirmed as part of the order scope.

Who makes the finished cable?

Independent factories in China that use HONGKAI cable-making equipment. HONGKAI is the supplier, not the finished-cable manufacturer; the actual manufacturing source is confirmed for your order.

What establishes product acceptance?

The agreed cable specification, inspection scope and order records. Using HONGKAI equipment is a production relationship, not a finished-product certification.
