What does this production route produce? This reference solution is for ASU (auto-supporting unitube) aerial optical cable with one central loose tube and two dielectric FRP strength members. When approved pre-colored fiber is supplied, HK-50 forms the jelly-filled PBT loose tube. The HK-90 ASU line then positions the FRP members, integrates the ripcord and applies the PE outer sheath. Final cable construction, span class, materials and equipment scope follow the approved cable drawing and target-market requirements. Brazil is a major market for HONGKAI's ASU production-line projects; each proposal is still matched to the approved cable design, target span and local project requirements.

These answers define the ASU reference route, what the supplied images can demonstrate, and what still requires project confirmation.

What ASU cable construction is this reference route based on?

The reference construction uses colored optical fibers in one jelly-filled PBT loose tube, exactly two parallel FRP strength rods, one ripcord and a black PE outer sheath. Fiber count, water-blocking design, dimensions, FRP spacing, span class and material grades must follow the approved cable drawing and the target-market requirements.

Does the two-stage route assume pre-colored optical fiber?

Yes. The core ASU route shown here begins at HK-50 with approved colored fibers in the required package. If the project starts from bare fiber, an upstream coloring and rewinding stage can be evaluated separately from this two-stage core route.

Why does the page show two core production stages?

HK-50 forms the central jelly-filled PBT loose tube. The dedicated HK-90 ASU line then coordinates loose-tube feeding, two parallel FRP pay-offs, the project-specific forming and binding arrangement, ripcord placement, PE extrusion, cooling, measurement, accumulation and take-up.

Are HK-50 and HK-90 ASU the final equipment configuration?

No. They are reference production-stage models used to explain the process route. Final module quantities, dimensions, controls, utilities, optional systems and equipment interfaces are confirmed only after reviewing the cable drawing, materials, capacity target and factory conditions.

Can existing equipment or buyer-supplied materials be integrated?

Potentially, subject to technical review. HONGKAI must confirm material package sizes, tension ranges, line interfaces, control signals, dimensions, utilities, operating conditions and required tests before existing equipment or buyer-supplied materials are included in the proposed route.

What information is needed to confirm line speed and production capacity?

Please provide the cable drawing or specification, fiber count, finished diameter, required materials, product mix, target stable output, reel sizes, shift pattern, available utilities, factory layout and project schedule. Span class is a finished-cable design and validation result, not a fixed machine parameter. This page does not assume a standard project capacity or a universal 90 m/min result.

Are the machine images and process video the final supplied equipment?

No. The images illustrate the HK-50 and HK-90 ASU reference stages. The related ASU video demonstrates the dedicated downstream line; it is not a final arrangement, a performance result or an acceptance record.

Are inspection, FAT, installation and training included?

Name the target cable standard or customer specification first. Inspection points, FAT sample conditions, finished-cable tests, acceptance criteria, documentation, installation, commissioning, training, travel and on-site responsibility are project-scope items. Cable-standard compliance depends on the approved design, qualified materials, process validation and finished-cable testing; it is not a certification of the machine itself.

Final cable construction, performance, equipment, acceptance criteria and supply scope are defined only in the mutually approved technical and commercial agreement.
