Map the Fiber and Both Spool Interfaces Before Fixing the Machine Scope

Select an interface to connect the real material or package role with the corresponding respooler function. Final dimensions, tooling and downstream fit remain project-specific.

Scope boundary

The respooler produces a removable wound spool. Complete payout-housing manufacture, outlet design, system integration and final canister assembly are separate downstream responsibilities unless expressly included in the written proposal.

    Traverse
    Screw-type traversing with a 400 W Panasonic servo motor and driver. Traverse pitch and range are adjustable and coordinated with take-up speed.
    Interface
    Listed spool diameter: Φ236 mm; take-up line speed: below 500 m/min. The listed controls include a 6.7-inch HMI and S7-200 PLC.

Spool dimensions are reproduced in the source document's order. The 25 km and 50 km figures describe its reference donor packages, not guaranteed target winding lengths. Final spool fit, component selection, qualified operating speed and supply scope follow the approved drawings, written proposal and FAT agreement. The five zones below explain the functions distributed across these three assemblies.

How many stages are in the reference respooling route?

The reference route uses five connected handling stages inside one respooling system: donor-spool pay-off, tension control, length metering and break detection, traverse and pitch control, and removable small-spool take-up. These are process stages, not five independently supplied production machines.

Que estrutura de entrada e saída esta rota cobre?

The confirmed input is natural-color coated optical fiber on an approved donor spool. The machine output is a removable small wound spool prepared for a separate downstream payout housing or canister operation. It does not manufacture the complete housing, outlet or UAV assembly.

How does the fiber pass from one stage to the next?

The fiber leaves the donor spool, passes through the agreed tension and guide path, is metered and monitored for a break condition, then follows the coordinated traverse path onto the small target spool. Shaft, guide, fixture and package interfaces must be confirmed from drawings or physical samples.

What must the buyer provide before configuration review?

Provide the fiber datasheet or sample, donor-spool drawing or sample, target-spool drawing or sample, target length and error method, requested tension and recording basis, winding-pitch and appearance criteria, and the intended downstream housing interface.

Share the usable footprint, operator and maintenance access, material flow, voltage, frequency, earthing and any retained upstream or downstream equipment. Final utility demand, installation interface and connection responsibility must be confirmed in the written project scope.

How should FAT, installation and service be confirmed?

FAT should use agreed fiber and spool inputs and record the approved length, tension, break-response, pitch and package-appearance checks. Optical attenuation comparison requires separate OTDR equipment and an agreed method. Installation, training, documents, schedule and service boundaries are confirmed in the signed technical and commercial scope.

Final tooling, equipment configuration, qualified operation, acceptance criteria and supply scope are defined only in the approved written agreement.
