Do we need every test machine before starting production?

The required laboratory depends on the first cable products and the agreed acceptance plan. Review existing instruments, routine factory checks and tests that may be handled by an identified external laboratory before defining the purchase scope.

Can optical measurements be linked to mechanical or environmental tests?

Where the test method requires it, the equipment arrangement should allow the specified optical measurements during or around the test. Instrument interfaces, access, sample preparation and record format must be agreed together.

Are the machines configured for one cable type only?

Fixtures, load ranges, specimen dimensions and test programmes are matched to the cable portfolio. A shared machine may cover several products only when its working envelope and fixtures meet each selected method.

Does buying the equipment certify the cable?

No. The applicable product requirement, current test method, specimen preparation, acceptance limits and recorded results determine the evidence. Equipment supply alone does not establish cable certification or complete test coverage.
